Strategic Facilitation and Training   

The following courses can be held as public or in-house courses.  In-house courses have case studies related to your organization or association.   All classes qualify for continuing education for Certified Association Executive (CAE).   All ToP classes qualify for CCHW credits.  The ToP Facilitation Methods qualifies for 14.5 CM credits for American Planning Association.

 1 day You will learn how to gain participation in groups, more effective use of time and resources, understanding of why we encounter difficult situations and what you can do about them.  This is an in-house course only.  Minimum of 10 participants.

 2 days
You will learn 3 proven methods to activate group participation.  1 - Focused Conversation,  2 - Consensus Workshop and 3 - Action Planning

ToP Strategic Planning
 2 days
Learn how to conduct strategic planning resulting in group consensus. The course shows you how to weave the powerful ToP Facilitation Methods into an integrated approach to strategic planning. The resulting plan is realistic, achievable and easy to monitor.  ToP Facilitation Methods
ToP Focused Conversation  1 day Learn how to design and facilitate a meaningful exchange of ideas. Discover how to involve every member in thinking through difficult or intriguing issues. Become more effective in facilitating virtually every form of group communication.  None
Meetings That Work
 2 days
This course will prepare you to be a better meeting facilitator – a better leader. Meetings That Work provides  methods and tools for planning and leading meetings.  None
COMING SOON 2018
Facilitation Fundamentals
 12 hoursOnline interactive course using Blackboard for facilitation fundamentals.  Course is offered 5 days in a row over one week or one day a week for five weeks.   None

Attendees learn by participating in a demonstration, learn the details behind the methods and lastly, demonstrate by leading a workshop.  In house course "host" that provide a meeting location and snacks for the participants are entitled to one free participant seat.  Contact Laurie@Dougherty-Inc.com to arrange to host a workshop at your facility.
